The world needs a savior. The world may not realize that, in fact, many people may think their life and their part of the world is great but thank God that he didn’t leave salvation up to how we feel. The Bible says our heart is deceitful and unspeakably wicked, who can know it, so the heart can deceive us in to believing something is true when all the while it may not be anything even close to being true.

The truth is, the world needs a savior, and God provided this savior. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is his name. All men need a savior because all men came under the dominion of sin at their first breath. This is why no one has to teach a baby to lie, they just know it, because there is a nature lying within them that is waiting to express itself at the nearest convenience ad that is that sin nature. Because of this sin nature working in people, we sin. Therein lies the problem.

Sin is a problem because God is a holy. Sin is in opposition to that holiness. It is an offense to his holiness. Sin also has to be dealt with because it has a price attached to it. The Bible says the wages of sin is death, and because all have sinned and no one is innocent and without sin before God, everyone needs a Savior. Jesus came to save us from the death we deserve for being sinners, and he did this by sacrificing his own life. He died for all people so that all people might be saved from the penalty of sin that they committed because of the nature working in them.

God gives us a new nature once we believe and accept Jesus Christ in our life. We have been cleansed from all our sin and are now guiltless in the eyes of God, and because of this new nature working in it, we don’t have to fall to sin repeatedly day after day. We can walk after the Spirit, and the Spirit will never lead us into sin.

Making the decision to follow Christ is the beginning of the new birth. The new birth is God making alive our dead spirits by sending his Holy Spirit to dwell within us. Now our lives are supposed to be constantly yielded to the Holy Spirit so that we please God with this new life we are living. Sin no longer has power over us. We have been made the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, and we have been redeemed from those old dead works and saved unto good works which God preordained in us before the foundation of the world.

What is the penalty of not accepting Jesus Christ into our life. Without accepting him we are still in our sin, and the wages of that sin we still must pay when this life is over. Sinners are considered wicked before God and outside of the promises of God and death by the lake burning with fire and brimstone will be their forever dwelling. God does not want any of us to go to that place because that place was not made for us but for the devil and his demons.

The world needs a savior, and that means you. If you have not accepted Jesus Christ into your life, you are still in your sin and in danger of hell fire. God is longsuffering not wanting to see anyone perish, but that all may come to him in repentance and believe in his Son Jesus Christ that they might be saved. Today is the day to accept your Savior. Today is the day to believe in Jesus. Tomorrow is not promised to anyone. Don’t gamble with your eternity. Accept him today and be saved!
